In memory

Donate in memory of a loved one and help to ensure that individuals, carers and children don’t face young onset dementia alone

By choosing to support Younger People with Dementia in memory of your loved one, you’re helping younger families and individuals access vital support for wellbeing. Ways you can remember your loved one:

Set up a tribute page

Fundraise in their memory

Organise a donation collection at their funeral

Set up a monthly donation in their memory

Set up a tribute page in memory

A tribute page is an online space that allows family and friends to celebrate their loved one’s life. Create your own personalised and free online memorial where you can collect donations for YPWD in their memory and remember them at special anniversaries. Using the Much Loved platform, you can add photos, videos and memories to your page. You can light candles, add virtual gifts, and make the page as unique as your loved one.

How to set up a tribute page:

1. Set up a free individual tribute page in your loved one’s name.

2. Add photos, messages and memories of your loved one if you wish.

3. Share the tribute page with others, so they can add their memories, fundraise and donate.

4. Much Loved collects any funds raised and pays them directly to us.

Much Loved is the leading in-memory platform in the United Kingdom. We love that a Much Loved tribute page can last forever and you can change anything on your tribute instantly.

Funeral Collections

Thank you for considering having a collection at your loved one’s funeral or memorial service to support Younger People with Dementia. This can be a special way to celebrate the life and memory of someone close to you.

Get in touch if there’s anything we can do to support your collection

If you are collecting donations in person, our charity can provide some materials to help you set up a funeral collection, such as leaflets or collection pots. If you have a donation collection at a funeral or celebration of your loved one’s life, you can pay in your collection in different ways.

How to pay in your collection

  • Pay your collection in on our website
  • Pay your collection in through a bank transfer. Contact us to get our details and one of our team will be able to help you
  • Pay your collection by visiting our office at The Tithe Barn, Parfitts Farm, Eversley Cross, Hook, RG27 0NT

Remember to Gift Aid your donation

If you're a base-rate tax payer, you can Gift Aid your donation to make it go further. When you donate with Gift Aid, we can claim an extra 25p from the Government for every £1 you give.

A regular gift in their memory

Set up a regular donation with YPWD to remember someone close to you. Your donation will help us to continue to support those with young onset dementia and their families, giving them purpose and structure throughout the working week and reducing social isolation, loneliness and families reaching crisis point.

It’s quick and easy to set up a regular donation for as much or as little as you’d like on our donate page.
